Good morning from London! I’m on a brief layover en route from Istanbul to Atlanta. Below are some photos from the Aegean Voyages of Paul and the Antioch Seminar—more to come in the next June newsletter! The fellowship was excellent, and I learned even more about this remarkable part of the world. Thanks for your prayers while I’ve been away. In this issue:
- Against the Flow: A new video series
- “Live Son or Dead Daughter?” — gender issues
- A European reflection on contemporary Christian music
- Areas of need — for potential donors.

Against the Flow: New Video Sermon Series
I’m in the midst of creating a third series of iFaith messages. These are short video-sermons (10-15 minutes in length). They have been created for the underground churches in Asia, but those in other parts of the world may benefit from them, too.

Live Son or Dead Daughter?
by Alan Shlemon
“Would you rather have a live son or a dead daughter?” This question has stopped many parents of transgender-identifying children in their tracks, but here’s why it’s merely emotional blackmail masquerading as compassion.
