Do you find this talk interesting? I did. The speaker is David Wilkinson of Durham University, UK, who holds PhDs in both astrophysics and theology.
Yes, I greatly enjoyed Wilkinson’s talk, "Behind The Book: Exploring the Intersection of Science and Faith." Thanks for the link. I also enjoyed several hours with him just last year. We had lunch and a chat, and walked around the campus of the university.
David and I agreed we were totally aligned on matters of science, as well as the importance of an irenic and respectful disposition as we interact with outsiders, or those who may be skeptical or even negative towards faith. Realizing, during our lengthy conversation, that we thought alike was immensely encouraging for me.
His book God, Stephen Hawking and the Multiverse was a good read, too! I bought a tall stack of copies. I hope Wilkinson’s message proves helpful to you on your own faith journey.
Note: Wilkinson truly embodies the spirit I commended in Q&A 1731.
